California Delta, November 25th
Weather: Sunny Skies, not cold enough for fall.
Water Temp: 63.3 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained
Look, Jerbs decided to wake up early for some Striper hunting! Good job fucker! MAS came too.
Good to see Joser on the water again. He got more blow ups than I did the entire day but couldn’t capitalize. Landed one keeper on his Magnum Spook, 4.11, that was kept for food.
Pinche Joser almost crashed guay! Aye aye aye!
11 Pound 4 Ounce Striper, landed on a Lunker Punker Jr. Caught & Released.
They are getting slightly bigger. Figured out that it may be a good idea to get some Boga-grips for the bigger fish. Very dangerous when they are slamming around in the net with those big ass hooks exposed!!

The Yellow Skeet Reese Lamiglas Crankin’ Rod

7′0 SR 705R
I fucking love crankin’. Not the white line crankin’, but the fishing technique crankin’. I picked up one of these rods a couple of years back and I fuckin’ love it. Personally I think Skeet Reese is a kook but his rods are pretty sick. Made out of the classic fiberglass, gleamin’ yellow(kook got the yellow to match his hair), and it has a shit load of guides. I’ve caught all of my biggest bass on this rod and it handles big fish nicely. It’s really light too, so when you’re crankin’ all day, you don’t get too tired. Last but not least it’s a lamiglas, you can’t beat their prices for rods and their warranty is great. The only drawbacks, if you’d consider them drawbacks, are that it’s a little too bouncy when using certain rip baits and it doesn’t have enough back bone to rip rat-l-traps through the delta weeds. Officially, three of us bassturdz got this rod, and I’m pretty sure when Jerbs gets the money, he’ll be putting one on the deck too.
