FisherWoman of the Month
This decision came a little late only because we couldn’t decide who it should be. Then someone brought up Amber Russo. Then~DING~, she was it.
We met her a while back while we were out on the Delta. We were eating at the Sugar Barge, chopping it up with the Bartender, and as we were talking about the fishing, the bartender offered to get Amber so that she can give us some tips. When Amber came in the room, everything started glowing and a voice made that sound that goes “AWWWWWWWW” like in those jesus movies. I was
speechles. “What’s up guys?”, she asked. I couldn’t speak. Then Matt asked, “What should we be throwing ot there right now?” “Rip some rattle traps in front of the toolies”,was her reply. I almost fell back in my seat.
This month goes out to Amber and the Bassturdz wish her luck this year in the 100% Bass Tournament Circuit.

Febuary’s Fisherman of the Month
This is a new feature for the Bassturdz.com until we get the main site going. We will always have a fisherman of the month and dedicate all the landed biggies and beers we drink to that fisherman.
It wasn’t hard for us to decide who the fisherman of the month should be for our first Fisherman of the Month feature. Andy “Cooch” Cuccia fit the bill perfectly. He has always been very helpful to his fellow bass fisherman and is never discouraged to give a tip that will increase your catch rate. He is a jig finatic and loves to throw jigs all year round. He has quite a few aticles about jig fishing that can help any angler improve their catch ratio when throwin’ a jig. Here is a link to one article and here is a link to another. If you need any tips or want a guide for the California Delta that’ll land you some pigs. Contact Cooch at FlipBigUns@yahoo.com. Here’s to you Cooch and thanks for the tip on using pigs with my jigs in the winter time!
