…is a real gnarly fish. when I tell people that I have been fishing, they’re thinking bobber with a worm. They don’t realize that these fidh are hitting frogs, ducks, snakes, other fish, crawdads, and are real aggressive. Sometimes you catch them because they are just pissed, and want ot word up you lure. Then, I show them this video. After that, their respect for the Largemouth grows. I don’t think they’ve ever thought a fish like this lives in their backyards.

I read that Gary Dobyns had got into a boat accident and I would like to give the man the Turdz’s regards. Luckily, his kill switch was attached to him and his boat stopped when he was pitched from the driver seat. It’s been sometime since I had the bug. Last year was pretty much this best year that I have ever had fishing and I am not expecting 2008 to be the same. Last year was my fifty year storm. What I am expecting in 2008 is to apply all that I learned last year to the fishing I will do this year and hopefully yield another ten plus pounder. Was it a fluke? Was I lucky? Only the changes of the season will tell.

Cooch is already killing it out in the Delta. The weather is getting warmer and the big girls are starting to eat.

The second annual BassTurdz Clearlake trip is already being planned out and the Turdz have already been working hard on getting their lines wet. Keep an eye out and feel free to share a beer with us if you see us on the water. Fuck the SNIFFER and remember, KOOKS will always be KOOKS!

I can’t believe it…My parents are awesome. I pretty much got through all of college on my own, so my parents figured they would get me a sweet present for finally finishing it. My parents knew I wanted a bass boat, I knew I was going to get one, but my mom and my homie matt teamed up to surprise me….that they did. Only one year ago I had a canoe strapped to a car and now I have a sick ass bass boat. SO TIGHT!
